1/8" x 18" Wood Dowel

For your intricate wood project – These 18” x 1/8” hardwood dowels are thin enough to capture detail, and sturdy enough for a lasting piece of art. Our round wooden dowels are pre-sanded, uniform and made from top-quality Baltic birch / poplar. They take paint well and are safe wood craft sticks for kids too!

Perfect display length – 18 inches of length makes a flag stick, photo props stick, or puppet stick with plenty of room for gripping. (1/8” works for paper/plastic flags. For a heavier flag, use a thicker size.) Also use these wood sticks for centerpieces, kites, and so many craft projects.

Longer & stronger skewer – Woodpeckers 1/8” wooden dowels are stronger than the typical skewer and have no pointed ends. The 18” length is great when you need an extra-long skewer, like for roasting marshmallows or smores. (Do not put dry wooden dowels near a fire – soak first)
