More egg crafting fun! Check out these neat solid wooden Metallic Daisy-Coated Eggs. First paint white, and when dry, spray paint in random strips with 2 different colors of metallic paints. The daisies are purchased paper flowers. Voila!!
Food-color dyed eggs. These wooden eggs have been dyed --not painted! -- so the natural grain shows through and is enhanced. For how-to directions, this will be a featured craft on our website starting March 1. Stay tuned!
Get creative with your home decor! Need a stylish place to set your glass? We have the perfect craft for you. These delicate lace coasters are easy to make but will impress any guest. We took round flat wooden discs then stretched lace trim over the wood and used spray paint to create the lace painted illusion. Pro Tip: use tape to secure your lace to the back of the disc to keep the fabric from shifting. Happy crafting!

Welcome Spring to your home with this beautiful Bird Egg Wreath! For this craft, start off by going to your local craft store and purchasing a twig wreath and faux bird. Twirl the ribbon of your choice through the twigs and around the wreath. When working with the mini wooden eggs, be sure to spray-paint them in your color of choice before gluing them to the wreath. Pro Tip: Light colors and pastels are a great choice to give the feeling of spring. Who says that wreaths can only be for Christmas?

Who knew clothespins could make such a cute tea trivet!? For this craft, I started by taking wooden clothespins apart and then gluing them together back to back. The next step to making this trivet is to lay the clothespins out against each other as they will naturally form a circle. Before completing the circle stop and continue in the opposite direction to create the curved shape. Pro Tip: use 3 or 4 shades of the same color to create a unique ombre effect. This wooden tea trivet is perfect for your teapot and a couple of teacups.

It's made from the finest natural ingredients, though. Natural wood balls, painted with a thick layer of chocolate colored paint, drizzled some more "chocolate" for the WOW factor. Mini cupcake holders really have you all fooled! So, there you have it! Diet or no diet. Make the chocolate and eat it, too!
Tag your foodie friends and let's see how many we can fool. LET'S GO.

Add a little love to your purse with your very own heart charm. Start by taking a wood heart and painting both sides the color of your choice. Pro Tip: To get the swirl fantasy look for this craft Pébéo "Fantasy" enamel paint is a must-have. The next step is to find twisted bugle beads that coordinate with your paint color and rim the wood heart with them. For the keychain, I chose to use a lobster clasp keychain, but a D clasp keychain would work just as well.#GetCrafty #DIY #AddALittleLove #HeartCharm #Pebeo #Crafts #Woodpeckerscrafts
A handcrafted gift is a great way to show your valentine just how much you care! For this Valentine Braided Necklace, I started off by making a six strand braid out of leather cord. Then I took a wooden heart, decorated it, and added it as a pendant to the leather braid. Pro Tip: To achieve a copper-toned look, a metallic paint marker is the way to go. #GetCrafty #DIY #Valetine #HandCrafted #HeartNecklace #Crafts #Woodpeckerscrafts

A Valentine Frame is one of many ways to showcase love in your home. For this craft, I started by pasting a vintage picture of my grandparents onto a wooden heart. Then I used white enamel paint to color the board and swirled dots of red throughout. To create the hearts I used a toothpick to pull through the center of the red dots making the heart shape. Pro Tip: Glue a wood cube to the back of the heart cutout so this frame can stand on a shelf or mantel.

Will Winter last six more weeks or will spring arrive early? Either way, we have a fun groundhog day craft for you to pass the time. I used all kinds of odd wood pieces to make these groundhogs. The bodies are made from miniature wooden barrels and the feet are made of tiny hearts. Pro Tip: use a piece of fake fur for that extra woodland feel.

A Beautiful craft for the beach lover in your life. A little bit rustic and a whole lot of beautiful. This hanging seashell heart is a wooden heart totally encrusted with tiny seashells. To add a pop of color to this craft I tinted some of the seashells, but left most natural and then fitted them to cover the wooden heart. Pro Tip: to get that shiny look, use a glossy shellack to coat this piece. A charming way to bring the ocean to your home.
