We used the Angel and male peg dolls on our David Bowie-themed Christmas tree. These were fantastic canvases to showcase our renditions of some of his iconic stage costumes. We used acrylic paints and a coat of matte lawyer, then used small eye-screws at the top of the heads to string hanger loops through. The wood is substantial in weight and perfect size for a tree ornament, not too heavy. I didn’t need to sand these before painting, the paint adhered beautifully. I can see these Bowie ornaments becoming family heirlooms. Very satisfied with my purchase.

These are fantastic. We were surprised that the bottom of the angel is not flat but has four imprints in it, probably from the lathe.
