Unfinished Wood Checker
I purchased some checkers to go along with a checkerboard that I built. They were great quality and a nice addition to my project.

Unfinished Wood Checker
English game maker Lazy Days produced a game in 1975 called Quantum. It's played on a 10 by 6 checkerboard and involves pieces moving in different directions and building towers. Challenging, engaging, and a perfect accompaniment to your evening drinks session. Since one can no longer buy the game, I made my own.

These worked great. Dyed 1/2 of them red, and the other 1/2 black, then coated them with shellac, then rubbed them out. Most of them were nice, a couple had some chip out, and I had bought extra, and the price was right! Fast reasonable shipping too....
